Time is of the essence for the LGBT community. All of these governors and senators have built their political platform by selling Christianity and family values and we should use those who have voted to keep marriage away from us. Their excuse, “ I just realized that I’m human”, “I felt into temptation”. They are the perfect examples for our cause, these are the same guys who have selectively choosen to discriminate us. But we’re not using them as examples to educate the public about the big hypocrisy under which they were elected. But most importantly, they have there “right” to remarry if they choose to after the fact. This is a gift from baby Jesus, we need a campaign or commercial highlighting each of these officials(gifts). The other gift given to us by Baby Jesus is the Jon& Kate Plus 8. Here we have a married couple with 8 kids getting divorced. Nonetheless, they have the ‘right” to turn around and get remarried if they choose to, but we can’t. And I have no sympathy using them for our cause, they became super rich selling their family values bs. Again, time is of the essence, thank you Baby Jesus for giving the LGBT community material that’s real and not fiction, the momentum is already in the media, let’s run with it and make it our own. And to answer your question :) yes, my partner Steve and I are going to DC as well, it's nice to see people are getting involved.
